Is the cost worth it?

Wondering whether Sigma School is worth the money? We think so, as do our students. Read this to learn why.

First of all, you get a 100% full money-back guarantee if you do not get a job in tech making at least USD700 (RM2,800) a month.

And even better when we launch the Income Sharing Agreement in the near future, you will never have to pay us more than 10% of your monthly salary or USD7,000 in total. Simply put, if you're not in a better place financially based upon your experience with Sigma School, there's no reason we should be either.

Secondly, whether applying to Sigma School or another educational institution, we believe any educational decision should be looked at as an investment, not a cost.

Assuming Sigma School really did help you land a job upwards of USD700 (RM2,800), that means that you managed to open up a completely new career path to kickstart your journey in tech.

The average salary of a software developer is in the range of USD1,000 to USD5,000 per month (depending where job is located at). As your career progresses in that direction and you keep on growing as a developer, you get exponentially higher take-home salaries throughout the next 30-40 years of your career and that number compounds!

“I can learn to code for free on Udemy or freeCodeCamp”

We love Udemy, freeCodeCamp, and all of the readily available MOOCs (massive online open courses). In fact, most of our current students came to Sigma School after trying to learn with free resources such as freeCodeCamp.

After trying for weeks or months, they were frustrated, easily distracted, lost motivation and missed the support, accountability, and structure that traditional education provides and online education usually lacks.

It’s really hard to stay motivated and focused for a long period of time when you have no one to test your knowledge, no one to support you when you have questions, and no peers to share the journey with you.

Sigma School combines the best of both worlds

We give 100% of your money back if you don’t get a job. That’s how committed we are to your success!
In the Income Sharing Agreement (launching soon), We offer our program for free or for very cheap until you get a job so that everyone gets an equal opportunity, and we do everything online and remotely so that, no matter where you are in the world, you can join our program.
We assign you a mentor who will provide motivation as you start your journey with Sigma School, student jumpstarters who will help you improve your code, a coding partner that will make sure you show up every morning, and a curated curriculum that guarantees that you are learning exactly what's necessary to get a job (remember if you don't get a job, we don't get paid anything!), a Student Success team that will make sure that nothing stops you during your learning process, and a professional career coach that will work with you for as long as it takes for you to get an amazing job.

We also have created collaborative, peer-to-peer systems where students help and mentor other students, making for a better experience where, as a Sigma School student, you get the chance to internalize your own knowledge by helping others, develop strong leadership skills, and improve your oral and written communication abilities.

Even with those collaborative dynamics in place, we still have to find and retain people all around the world that fit our criteria. We are very selective with who gets accepted to join the Program. We also have Student Jumpstarters, a student success team, and professional career coaches to help you succeed.

If you think everything Sigma School to offer is a good investment in yourself, then we are happy to invest in you too.

If not, we recommend that you try some free alternatives first (we love freeCodeCamp and The Odin Project). We will always welcome you back if you ever need help in the future.
